Fraternity History

On Friday evening, November 17, 1911, three Howard University undergraduate students, with the assistance of their faculty adviser, gave birth to the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. This event occurred in the office of biology Professor Ernest E. Just, the faculty adviser, in the Science Hall (now known as Thirkield Hall). The three liberal arts students were Edgar A. Love, Oscar J. Cooper and Frank Coleman.

Community Service

The Brothers of the Omega Delta Delta Chapter has participated in a Christmas event at the Department of Veterans Affairs on December 8th. Some of the activities included were stepping for the kids that attended and interacting with them; giving them positive advice.



The Brothers of the Omega Delta Delta Chapter are also currently an active participate in Project G.R.E.E.K. at Young Scholars Charter School here in Philadelphia teaching the young students how to step and preparing them for their future step shows.
