Fraternity History

On Friday evening, November 17, 1911, three Howard University undergraduate students, with the assistance of their faculty adviser, gave birth to the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. This event occurred in the office of biology Professor Ernest E. Just, the faculty adviser, in the Science Hall (now known as Thirkield Hall). The three liberal arts students were Edgar A. Love, Oscar J. Cooper and Frank Coleman.

Monday, November 15th

--->Where: Howard Student Center Rm 200C
--->Time: 7:11pm
After a long hard day of going to class and studying, you can come kick back and let the brothers of the Omega Delta Delta chapter cater to you. Get your hair done, nails done, massages, etc, and enjoy a movie while you wait.


Tuesday, November 16th
--->Do Nice Guys Really Finish Last?
--->Where: Tuttleman 407 AB
--->Time: 7:11pm
Finally, we will finish off our week with a thought provoking program on the big question "Do nice guys REALLY finish last?" Open for everyone, we want you all to weigh in and give us your honest opinion.

Every year, it has and continues to be a tradition for the Bruhz to pay tribute to our Founders with a dedication hop on campus. Come brave the cold for a performance of tribute as young, graduate, and seasoned Brothers flock to campus. This is a must see to believe!

Did you miss it last year and had to about it from your friends?! Don't worry, because it's back by popular demand! Get ready for a bunch of fun and laughs as three young men try to win the heart of one lady, and as three young ladies try to win the heart of one guy.

--->Come out and feel like a kid again as we play games, Sorry, Monopoly, Twister, Checkers, Chess, and everyone's favorite, SPADES!!!


Throughout the week, we will have delicious miniature pies, cobblers, and cakes available for you to buy as a fundraiser to help raise funds for one of our continuing community efforts, Rubye's Kids(Philly) & now R-Kids(NY). We will have the following:

$4 APPLE COBBLER
$5 RED VELVET CAKE
